Static Electricity: Transfer of electrons between objects. It is formed from electrical charges that have built up on two objects which are then separated.
Static: Not Moving; static electricity is an electrical charge that is static (or does not move) from the area on the material where it is built up.
Attract: To pull towards itself
Repel: To push away from itself

In class we created static electric charges by rubbing two objects together and separating them. When we did this there was a transfer of electrons between the objects.
Positively Charged Object: The object that gave up electrons
Negatively Charged Object: The object that gained the electrons
Laws of Electricity
1. Opposite Charges Attract
2. Like Charges Repel
3. Charged Objects Attract Uncharged Objects
